May 9, 2009 - A Recent Review
An intellectual recently read The Corrupting of the Redeemer, and commented on how deep and enlightening it is. They reflected upon how the story shows the means by which people manipulate others in order to maintain power; how Christianity has been used by Whites to keep Blacks mentally enslaved, and used by Black ministers to subsidize their lives of decadence; and the history of the Black experience, and its pertinence to the progression of Black people. Due to the depth with which the book discusses issues that are important to the Black race, this person said that The Corrupting of the Redeemer is more than a religious book – it is an awakening!
