I have begun the process of finalizing the book's cover. The cover will convey the message that the book
was intended to produce, and I'm sure it will be controversial. Since the book has been awaiting the
cover in order to be considered a finished product, the final work should be finished soon. At that time,
copies will be produced, and it will be ready for sale.
My entrance into the academy of great writers is soon at hand!

After many months of stressing about money in this bad economy, I'm finally in a position to begin
saving money. And now that I can do that, I can begin to accumulate the funds that I'll need to
self-publish my book. More people have read it, and they have been impressed by it. It has been called
an "awakening," due to the history, insight, and wisdom that is reflected in it.
Stay tuned!
January 3, 2009
A new year has begun, and I have been fortunate in securing full-time employment with a decent salary.
I say that because I will now be able to work on my finances, in preparation for the publishing of my
book later this year. Financial issues have caused me to repeatedly delay the self-publishing of my
book, but those concerns should soon be alleviated.
I have been getting repeated updates on The Corrupting of the Redeemer by a Christian who is
currently reading it. Although the book might be construed as being anti-Christian, the reader finds
the book engrossing, and a revelation to the truth of what's happening in the megachurch movement,
along with broadcasting the hypocrisy of many Christians. Hearing that is very pleasing, and I expect
other readers to feel the same way that he does when the book is released. It is also pleasing to hear
that another reader is enjoying the book.

As you know, the economies of the world are suffering. Because of that, I have yet to secure stable and
suitable employment. I will continue to prepare to self-publish my book in the spring of 2009, but that
will be dependant upon my finances.
October 3, 2008
I have copyrighted the book, and now that I have done so, I will reveal its title: The Corrupting
of the Redeemer. Additionally, I have posted the first five chapters of the book under the "My
Book" section of this website. Click here to
preview the book.
September 25, 2008
I'm currently preparing to obtain a copyright for the book. Once I do that, which should be next week,
I plan on posting the first several chapters of the book, so that you can get an idea of what it will
involve.
September 16, 2008
The proofreading and editing of the book is complete. Within the next few weeks, I intend to copyright
the book and release copies to selected people across America. I will then begin the production of the
book, which I hope to release before the end of the year.
July 24, 2008
The book has been proofread once, and the proofreader was impressed by what they read. They described
the book as well-written, suspenseful, and deeper and more thought-provoking than a lot of the
popular books that are currently being written by prominent Black writers. The latter thought was
shared by someone else who was informed of the contents of the book; she said there's a need for my
book in the marketplace. Those sentiments show how Black literature, as with many other works of art
created by Black people, have been commercialized by Whites who seek profit over substance. My book
has depth and meaning, and I am excited about having it published.
I have reviewed the suggestions of the proofreader, and sent the book back to them for further review, after having made several modifications. Once the review process is complete, I will begin to seek out literary agents and publishers who might be interested in seeing my book published. That will occur within the next few weeks. If you are one of said people, then I am interested in speaking with you. But I must warn everyone that I am highly intelligent, and able to easily detect bullshit.
While serious inquiries are welcome, nobody should mistake me for a fool!
July 12, 2008
I've received some initial feedback on my book. The proofreader has said that they are enjoying it, and that it's well-written and contains a lot of detail, which allows people to understand it.
Those comments are inspiring, because they show that my first novel is worth reading.
July 6, 2008
Now that I've finished editing the book, I've passed it onto someone who will proofread it. After
they are finished, I will review their corrections and suggestions, and adjust the book accordingly.
I will then begin the process of producing copies of the book for sale, depending upon my finances.
June 30, 2008
I've finished the first edit/revision of the book, and now it will be evaluated by someone else. They
might be able to see things that I overlooked, and correct them. It is good for a writer to have
someone else review their work - the writer knows what they wanted to say, which sometimes causes
them to overlook small errors that an impartial observer will see and correct.
My goal is still to self-publish the book by the end of the year. But because of my financial
issues, I'll entertain the idea of having a reputable publisher assist me, if one so desires.
June 13, 2008
Over two-thirds of the book have been edited. I plan on having the book completely edited by the end of
this month, after which it will be proofread by someone else. After that, I will begin to start the
production process, which will include more marketing. But that, along with the eventual release of
the book, will be dependant upon my finances, which are currently suffering because of the bad economy.
May 22, 2008
I've edited approximately one-third of the book. I hope to have completed the editing process by the
end of July. Rather than publish the book in August, I will try to release it in the latter part of
2008, due to a lack of funding. Whenever the economy improves and I can get a permanent, full-time
job, I'll publish the book and become the next critically acclaimed author.
April 19, 2008
I'm currently editing the book, and I plan for that process to be completed by the end of the month. Although
I haven't yet formally secured a copyright for the book, I'll say that it will be approximately 600 pages.
I didn't intend for it to be that long, but it took nearly 150,000 words/600 pages for me to say everything
that I wanted to say.
The book deals with many issues that are present in the Black Christian church, along with politics. Black people
will find the book interesting, even if they don't agree with the things that are said, because it will
be relevant to them. And non-Blacks may also consider the book intriguing, because they may learn
things about Blacks that they didn't know. People are often clueless about our (Black people) being, and consider it a
great revelation when they learn something new about us.
March 28, 2008
After 3 years, 2 months, and over 147,200 words, I've finally finished my book. It feels good to have
begun a task that required a lot of time and thought, and completed it. In the following weeks and months
I will talk about the editing and production process - along with providing information about the book, as I
spoke about earlier. I plan on publishing the book in either August or the beginning of September 2008.
Stay tuned for more information and updates.
March 16, 2008
The book is very close to being completed. I hope to have it completely finished within 7 days, so
that it can enter the editing process shortly after that. When the book is completed, and has been
registered with the copyright office, I will begin to reveal the characters, details, and themes of
the book.
March 3, 2008
The book is almost complete. I have a little more that I want to write, and I hope that it will finally
be finished by the end of April. It keeps getting interesting, and I know that it will be considered
a worthwile work of art - and I'm not just saying that because I an the author. The story is deep,
and the things that are said need to be told.
October 28, 2007
I have written sligthly over half of the book, and will hopefully complete it by the end
of 2007. Since I began writing the book in February of 2005, I have realized that during the writing
process, the final product can take a lot longer to complete than one expects. Although I began with
an outline of the book, new ideas have arisen that have caused the book to be longer than I had
expected. But that will only make the book better, therefore it is not a bad thing.
